Dedicated to Ken Berry’s illustrator and friend, Andy Valdivia, this story is a very uplifting tale of a horse named happy who has thinner hooves than most horses and cannot wear regular horseshoes as they hurt his feet. He struggles with the incapability to gallop like the other horses and is disappointed that he will never be able to live up to the stories he has heard of his famous relatives. However, thanks to the kind people at Payless Shoesource, Happy is able to find his place on HH Farms.
